Beast + Bounty is the brainchild of Michael Hargis & Brock Macdonald, owner and executive chef of the popular midtown destinations LowBrau Bier Halle & Block Butcher Bar.  This third iteration of farm-to-plate dining will showcase the same community gathering ethos and an elevated woodfire food program.

So what’s in a name?

Beast + Bounty is the common denominator for the carnivores and herbivores in Sacramento—the “Beast-Eaters” & “Bounty-Lovers” if you will.  Chef Brock MacDonald has partnered with Michelin-Star Chef, Ed Martinez, to create a menu inspired by the wonderful food “of the field” and will be serving guests from morning to night. Yes, that means B+B will be the perfect breakfast, lunch and dinner destination for the weekend brunchaholic, fast-paced workaholic or that particular foodaholic in the family.

The dining environment at B&B centers around the exposed wood-burning hearth, which will be a centerpiece of the open kitchen. Outside, there is nowhere better in the city to enjoy a glass of wine and play a few rounds of bocce ball while awaiting your table.
